Can't really go wrong with strudel. The food was largely the same as what we had in Germany (this is a good thing.)

We cycled on a road for all of about 5km - all of the cycling in Austria was along the Danube cycle path so we cannot really comment on this or the traffic...

Scenery: 8/10

Amazing for some parts of the Danube route, particularly the first bit. The river was at it's majestic best here, and it has cut out quite a valley through those hills.

People: 7/10

People in general were very friendly, the mark-down would be for Vienna, where there is definately a tourist weariness and smiles are more forced.
